1 click @ a time per day = discipline w/ some money on the side

Probably most of us have heard the sayings "A penny a day" & "A penny saved is a penny earned" right? Who among us hasn't dumped our "pocket or purse change" into a jar or other container for whatever reason? Some intentionally save for specific reasons like vacations, gifts, kids, etc... while some don't have a particular reason and others find change annoying to carry. Do you remember the excitement of finding coins as a child regardless of their value? I still get excited and thank the universe for sharing its abundance in yet another way. How about you?

If you're one that finds coins or change annoying then this passage isn't for you. For those of you that still get excited to find shinny pennies then please read on.

Below is a list of “Paid To” links to programs that you can choose to participate in to earn, accumulate and grow pennies into dollars over time. You can choose to promote these programs to earn even more pennies per day if you want.

The real benefit to this approach is not the money earned one click at a time but rather the discipline acquired while doing it. The money is a goody on the side. Sustained discipline is an essential ingredient to creating and building any business or anything worthwhile.

Debunk

I have wanted to work from home since being downsized the first time following “9/11”. I researched some work at home stuff online at the time yet the timing & such didn't seem right for me to start working virtually. I wondered from job-to-job after that always w/ the thought of working from home lingering in the back of my mind. I decided to give it another go after the most recent job loss in January 2011, however, and am thrilled that I did.

Friends, were and still are to a degree, skeptical about this whole work-from-home thing...out of concern for me & my son. Their two biggest concerns are whether or not I can make enough to support us and that I will become an old crazy hermit woman that never leaves the house. Their concerns for me are appreciated and quite valid in both regards. I have concerns of my own regarding income yet not so much w/ the whole hermit-woman thing. Quite frankly, I don't see what the problem is. LOL! Then again, I tend to be more introverted, like and need a lot of alone time and love being at home.
I'm going to make a point to take a brisk walk everyday after work for my own health and well being, as well as, to help ease their minds. Mornings would probably be better yet I know that I will not get up early enough to take this walk.

As far as income, it's not meeting my expenses at this point even though I'm working full-time. I'm learning and doing as much as I can to expand my skill sets and income streams so I have no doubt that this issue will be resolved in the near future. Learning to create blogs w/ good, useful & original content is one avenue I'm pursuing. I'm also learning how to tweet, twit, follow, be followed, post, like, etc...in order to leverage Social Marketing. It's quite an interesting world. Stay tuned, it's bound to get different!

Work at Home Now: The No-nonsense Guide to Finding Your Perfect Home-based Job, Avoiding Scams, and Making a Great Living
A bit about me...I've wanted to work from home since being downsized the Tuesday following "9/11", a day that changed the course of my career & personal life forever.

I had been working for a large US company for about a year doing remote technical support. I sort of stumbled into the field after completing my MBA when a friend told me I should check out this small consulting company she was doing accounting for. They hired me so I started a crash-course in IT and
managing small software development and networking projects. I was offered a technical position about 1 1/2 years later so I accepted. I knew I would not be a technical guru yet I thought becoming more technically astute would make me a better project manager so I accepted & even took a pay cut to boot. A year later it was gone along with some hopes and dreams. Finding IT work for a rookie such as myself was impossible when even Subject Matter Experts or SMEs who had tons of skills and experience couldn't get work either.

So I started fooling around with HTML freeware and creating webpages. I used it as a sort of therapy to work through my anger while picking up some new skills. That's when I came across various work from home, get rich quick scams and other paid to do this and that opportunities. It seemed to me that the only legit work at home gigs were for software developers and those with similar skill sets. Between this and life circumstances, I was forced to take a regular job and put my hopes of working from home on the back burner.

So here I sit almost 10 years later finally working virtually. I started about 2 months ago and haven't looked back. I'm working a full-time job during the day and learning as much as I can at night for creating other streams of revenue online.
